Canadian Roller Club


The Canadian Roller Club also known as the C.R.C was formed in 1963 by a devoted group of Roller Pigeon Fanciers.

Although initially started in the Province of Ontario, the clubs members may be from coast to coast. The club is a non-registered, non-profit association.

CANADIAN ROLLER CLUB OBJECTIVES

  1. To support and promote the Roller Pigeon throughout Canada, support good fellowship and ethical standards both morally and financially.
  2. To promote the breeding of the Roller Pigeon according to the clubs standards.
  3. To publish an educational and informative bulletin on a regular basis for all club members.
  4. To promote the breeding and distribution of knowledge primarily of the Canadian Show Roller, however the flying and other types of Rollers may also be included.
  5. To promote good health and welfare of the Roller Pigeon by providing information and assistance when, where required.
  6. To conduct regular shows, contests or public exhibitions with the provision of prizes, awards of distinction to persons and birds from time to time.
  7. To provide its members a means of bird registration through annual C.R.C. band sales. The leg band registration will serve as a means tracing lost, strayed, stolen, or show entered birds. Band numbers and names of annual purchaser will be published for that year's sale.
  8. To expect and promote good ethical standards from its directors and membership. Failure to comply may result in a suspension or revolking of a club membership.
  9. To provide a fair and appropriate appeal avenue for those considered guilty of dishonorable conduct.
  10. To become an associate or affiliated club member with any other association whose objectives are similar/or the same as the C.R.C.
  11. To hold one annual Director meeting and additional meetings if required. For the provision of information and voting purposes an annual membership meeting will also be held.
